Lone Wolf stand question

Going to be using a LW this year and was wondering how the majority of people hang them? Do you put the V bracket on the stand and use the 2 versa buttons or do you use the hook and use one strap on the versa button?

Just experimenting in the back yard it seems easier to use the hook loosely since I have the V bracket on my stand and then put the top strap on the versa button. Then undo the hook and take it off the strap. Then I use the strap on the lower versa button.

Next I need to figure out the sticks and see how they go on the stand.

Any tips would be great.

I just use the hook on mine. I dont bother with the versa buttons.

I use the hook system without the vbracket. Put your sticks up when you climb up to put your last stick up throw your stand on one arm and your hook in your cargo pocket and when you get your last stick in place pull the hook out of your pocket get it tight around the tree, swing your stand off your back, hang it on the hook, wrap the second strap lift the platform and cinch it tight and then "set" the stand by pulling the platform down...It will be rock solid. As far as packing the sticks I am now laying them on their side and they don't stick out as far and the pack that i use seems to balance better, I will post a picture tomorrow...but who knows next week I may find a better way...
