Looking for a good camera!

DOUBLE LUNG

I am looking into getting a nice 35mm camera that can zoom in pretty good on the wildlife. Everytime I am in the stand and a nice buck walks by in range or out of range I would like to be able to take a snap shot of him. Also when I am in the duck or goose blind.
I do not know much about what to get and what it would be worth. But something that has a good zoom would be great. Would like to spend anywhere in between $100-$300 bucks.

You're are most likely going to want an SLR with a lense adjustable out to 200mm.

I would recommend the Nikon N75.

Digital is definitely worth the extra $$$$, if you can.

The N75 is not digital.

I'm a cannon fan. Look at the rebel or even better yet the digital rebel. SLR is definatly the way to go. If you end up with a digital rebel there is a doubler in it so then your 100-300mm telephoto is a 200-600mm. Good choices. The rebel is very user friendly and should be reasonably priced. I know that the digital rebel is $999 with a lens and body!

Actually the multiplication is 1.6 so it would be a 160-480

. Not there there is that much of a difference! But I agree that they are nice cameras.

I mounted a panasonic digital video cam to my bow at the stabilizer threads. It has an awesome zoom and puts digital photos on a separate card from the video. It weighs .8 lbs and it is sure handy to have it hooked to the bow.. I have used the camera to replay shots and find arrows check shot placement ect. I am on tape number 4 allready and its nice to come home and show the kids my video... the still pics are not as clear as the high quality 35 camera but the handiness and watching your arrow zip through a coyote in slow motion is worth it.
