Looking for a piece of slate

I am looking for a piece of slate to make a turkey call out of. Does anyone have some or know where i can find it?

try a local flooring guy or anyone that lays tile they should have some

I think your best bet may be a hobby shop off of an older type chalk board. Otherwise I'm not sure.

I went to a tile place today and they had some left over from a job theyv'e just done. It it a really cool colered piece of slate. I already made a striker out of oak and a deer antler. It sounds awsome on a store bought call.
