Looking for some warm gloves

Hey everyone, i have been looking for a decent pair of warm hunting gloves. I will primarily be bowhunting and looking for something without a whole lot of bulk.

I've never had a pair of gloves that really worked in the really cold temps. What do you guys suggest? I love the thin type for early season, and i have some thicker midweight gloves, but have never had a pair of gloves that would work well in very cold temps. There are alot of bulky looking gloves out there that don't do a whole lot of good.

I thought about getting some UnderArmour liners after purchasing Some of the base layers. Anybody have the liners?

I wear military surplus rag wool liners all season. When it gets really cold, I'll take along a handwarmer thing that wraps around the waist. I don't like bulky gloves and have found these work best for me. Plus, they are only a few bucks for each pair.

That handwarming muff looks like a great idea. Something tells me I'll own one of those in the near future. :drink2:

The waist style handwarmer muff is what I use also. Much more user friendly than thick gloves (especially when using your binos, rangefinder, etc).

I use the glomitts and then have a pair of the under armour liners in them so when the flaps are back my fingers aren't exposed. Used this setup(with other liners before) since I started bowhunting in '92...works great for me. Can also throw a hand warmer in there if need be.

I use the samething. Will wear glomitts to the stand and will take them off for some lighter gloves when settled in. I put a couple of hot hands in the muff before I leave the truck and they are nice in warm once I get to the stand.:way:

I bought some of these this year...having the hole there for the release works nice. They are pretty warm too.

I have a pair of these also. Very warm and the hole for the release is great. Any one know what the small thin looking brown gloves are that allot of the pros on TV wear? I see like the Primo boys and Lee and Tiffany wear? Are those the military wool gloves someone else mentioned? I know I have seen them in shows in cold, cold weather wearing them.

I gotta throw another vote out for the waist hand muff thing. throw a couple of handwarmers in there and your hands will be fine with a light pair of gloves.
