Anyone with fruit buds out last night lost it all I think ,,in Eastern Iowa. Even way down south in Ottumwa and Fairfield was 21' and 19' ! I didn't make it down to spray any water, but at those temps,,think that woulda been futile anyway. Oh well, is what happens on the Plains. Iowa is part of the Great Plains. Farther South, stays warmer. Farther North stays colder. In the middle you get more of the extremes each way. Can only hope for a better weather pattern next spring. This spring has been-- Warm Ridge west,,,cold trough east.
