Had the pleasure of taking my son’s younger brother on his first turkey hunt this morning. Got in early on some public, had birds hammering close. One read the script and came straight to the decoys. Luke somewhat botched a 15 yard shot…2 more shots and a 300 yards chase down and choke out later…glad Luke is young and spry because I sure wasn’t chasing that far….he had his first turkey! A hunt we won’t soon forget!!
