LW Sticks

Does filling the LW climbing sticks really make them less quiet? Ive heard some of you guys say youve done it. If it is something you suggest, whats the proceedure?

What are people filling them with? Wouldn't want to make them to heavy

. I pretty much use LW sticks exclusively and I have yet to notice any noise. Is the noise occuring while climbing or carrying them?

noise comes from carrying, accidentally banging them together. they filled them with spray-foam insulation, to deaden them a bit
