With the time change I have some time before work to do a little road scouting at day break. I am still amazed at what I saw this morning. From about 6:45 to 7:15 I saw 6 bucks out in the open or on the edge of cover. Three of them definite shooters with one HOG!!! The big one (im guessing a 150 4x4) was on an alfalfa field about 75 yards from one of our stands. One of the others was a beautiful 4x4 (125 or so) that I watched all summer in velvet and have not seen since late August. This buck and another 130 class 5x4 were within 1/4 mile of another stand. To say that I am pumped is an understatement. This next week will DRAG on before vacation starts for me. Sure make waiting a bit hard but knowing that those big boys are there makes it a little bit more bearable. Well I'd better start working. Just had to let everyone know what I saw! Good luck to all.
