Management Buck?

Here's one my brother killed (not this season OBVIOUSLY) that we had seen before- he was pretty much the EXACT same size the year before. I figured he was around 6 & 1/2 AFTER seeing him after a couple years AND when we finally got him on the ground. From a distance I would have guessed him (by rack) much younger. Guess I'm glad he's out and another buck can move in! DRESSED at EXACTLY 249 lbs!!! That's one of the biggest DRESSED weights I've seen in a while. Just an interesting case and deer that I simply thought I'd share for fun & show how some bucks could be older than you realize (and it was a bigger body (and small rack) than I've ever shot!) /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Great buck Skip!!!! He would definitely be on my shoot list and he is a trophy in my eyes no matter the horn size...it's VERY hard to take a buck over 5.5.
