my question is what is the nut crop in your area?

noting more deer and lots of heavy branches-

An acorn hit me in the head last night while shooting my bow....looks like this tree is going to be a winner with a nut crop. By the way, welcome aboard

Just kiddin' ya buddy. I checked some trees on one of my properties yesterday. The white oaks were spotty. Some decent and some were void of acorns. The shingle oak had some very large growths (not acorns) on the branches. Must be some sort of disease. Last year seemed to be a bumper crop.

Our best mast crops usually happen when we have had good Spring/Early Summer rains.

This should be a great year to hunt a White Oak ridge.
