If you had to guess, 5& 1/2 OR would you say younger? If he's 4 & 1/2 he ain't gettin' shot. Nothing huge. I'd love to see him and try and judge the age. Palmated a bit there. Here's a couple others from same memory card...

I don't think more than 4.5 but VERY UNIQUE and tough to say. I would love a deer like that but I am a sucker for the abnormal ones. Hard to tell when its early, they never look as hard core and "old" as later on /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

That thick main beam gets me going...I'd say 3.5 or 4.5, when he peaks at 5 or 6 that buck is going to be a STUD.

Yeah, I'd GUESS right now that he's NOT 5& 1/2 BUT when rut hits and I can look at his chest and hind quarters AND rack, might add up, I'd guess NOT at this point though. SO HARD TO TELL right now, you all are right on with that thought!!!!

Another thing with VELVET is- I've had a few bucks that I thought were GIANTS, then I saw them without velvet and they were MUCH, MUCH smaller. Velvet can be deceiving BUT we'll hope this dude at least gets sighted during season! /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I would wait till his neck swells this fall and he gets in "fall" shape and then judge, but for right now I don't see him being older than 4.5.
