Maximum file size problems

I was going to post some recent trail cam pics but the pics got rejected for being too large. The max file size must be 1.04mb and these pics are just a little over that.

Is there anything I can do to size these pics down some?

You can upload your photos to a site like photobucket and then insert the img link into your post or use an online resizer program such as this one

to decrease the file size and save to your computer so you can upload to IW.

i sometimes just email the picture back to myself.it will ask if you want to make it smaller i just click yes.

Great suggestions were mentioned (host it on photobucket, email it to yourself and see if the file size changes, use an on-line resizer, etc.).

Another suggestion would be to download the free software program ImageJ. It will allow you to resize pictures and I recently used it to combine 4 pics into one (created a stack of images then converted the stack into a montage).
