May be in 60s and 70s!

Current forecast says may be in 60s and 70s next week, at least across southern IA. That should be enough to get those little, evil Ticks to stirring. I am heading down to do all the brush work I can before they pop-up. I know some will say,"Way too early", but last yr they started showing on my clothes mid-March, in my woods anyway...

I hate them things, luckily we dont get the tiny kind you have farther south. I can at least feel and see the ones we have up here.

Pulled 2 ticks off my dog yesterday.

The ticks seem to love the humidity coming off my greenhouse windows. Last year I picked 30 of them off. Doesnt help that there use to be a deer farm next door and now texas longhorns.
