My brother sent me this photo today. He has an old man that can't walk anyone so they drove him to a hunting shack. About dark he shot a doe, they looked for awhile and decided to come back next morning.

This is what they found.

They picked the carcass clean in less than 12 hrs.

I'd say they picked it clean...little suckers!!! Need to hunt them in the winter time, reduce the chances of it happening again anyways

Are you sure WisDNR and IowaDNR haven't gotten together and dropped of some of these Wisconsin Wolves over there?? LMAO

Ya, I would say you have a coyote problem!! Get Preditor Quest out there!!

I left a doe one time so I could drive home and get my 8 year old son to help me "track" it. I knew where she dropped, but wanted him to share the experience. I was gone for 1 hour. Got back and they had her ripped open already and were going to town eating her middle section. Amazing.

I think the may is a DEFINITE yes. I have had the eyeballs taken out by vultures and the ass ate out but never devoured like that. WOW.

Just going to throw this out there. Not sure where this happened at but if its in Central/Southern Iowa I may be able to help you out after deer season is over. We run coyote dogs in the winter and have great success doing so. I know most people don't want dogs running through their property pushing the deer out but after the deer season is over and snow is still on the ground, it might not be a bad idea. You have a def coyote problem. If you would be interested you might wanna get ahold of surrounding property owners and see if they would be ok with it. Let me know if I could help ya out... Good luck:way:

I had that happened to me once too; it looked exactly like that. Turns out it was a pack of loose dogs from a nearby housing development. I tracked them down and called the game warden. He basically told me to SSS. And boy did I. I got three of them within the next 24 hours.
