Meat Seeker?

I know to each their own with broadheads. All will do the job. I have used Rocket sidewinders for yrs,,but want to try something else. I read all the pro-con comments. Looks like a toss up,,slicks,Nap spits,,and Meat Seekers. I still kinda like the expandable flight,,better in wind idea. anyone ever use Meat Seekers,,Trophy Ridge?

never tried them, but I have had great luck with the grim reapers, also have shot 11 deer with the RAGE and the furthest one has gone 70 yards, they fly well and the cut is ridiculous!

I have been reading comments on many broaheads, and it is funny,,One person will say they do great, others will say,,little blood,no pass-thru, they stink! What all of this tells me,,what we already know,,how a head acts once in a deer,is different in each situation. What it hits or doesn't hit in there, varies greatly, even though the placement looks good. What I am looking for is the most positive comments, from many different shots, many different people. This tells me the overall performance of any particular head. So far Slicks,,Naps,,,and the newer meatseeker have the most positives. All you can go by to make an opinion.

All product reviews (not just broadheads) are purely situational. If I take a product dont use it as intended than Im going to say its crap, very few products on the market DONT work as thier supposed to.

True tests come from someone who is doing side by side by side comparsions. I like the broadhead into the side of beef tests. Ballistics gelitan is another goodone, not that it is comparable to an animal but it does allow the same resistance.

The meat seekers (known last year as undertakers) are my new favorite head. I shot them last year, and I can not find a head that fly's truer than this head. It also is a bone crusher. I shot a doe last year through both, yes, both shoulder blades and she only made it a couple of yards. In all, last year I killed 10 deer with 3 heads, and I do believe that I would still be using those heads if I could have found the arrows.

The buck I shot last year, I put as true of a gut shot on him as you could get. He did make it awhile, but there was a ton of damage from the head. I have nothing but positive things to say about these broadheads. They are tuff, fly great, and do great damage on impact. Again, this is only my opinion on them, but I have my quiver full of them again this year. I'm shooting the 3 blades, but did take a serious look at the 2 blades, just don't want to change what is working for me right now.

That is a good report Nannyslayer,, Is there anyway to sharpen them, or just replace? Thank you. I am seriously going to consider them.

Seriously, no need to sharpen them at all. If they are dull, its probably time to replace the blades anyways. Blades can be replaced very easily. Get a eyeglass screw driver and you can change blades in pretty much no time.
