My roommates and some members of the swim team that have never shot a deer in their life want me to take them hunting. I was wondering if anybody would be willing to let us hang our deer at their place on the 12th and 13th and I'll bring the deer home on the 14th and the 19th and 20th and I'll bring them home the 21st.

We're going to be searching for some private ground this weekend going door to door in those counties. There will be 6 or 7 of us and I'll be the only one that's ever shot a buck and only one other kid has shot a doe. It'll be an interesting group.

Is story county close enough?
 
If it were me I'd just take a rope and hang them in a tree next to the public land parking lot and skin and take your meat out there . Could use headlights of vehicle if you have too. A cooler of meat in December with ice shouldn't have a problem staying frozen all week . Not the best option but if worse comes to worse .
