I agree and when you are enjoying your favorite beverage please remember those that fought, are fighting and those that gave their lives so we could have our freedom.

I agree with Limb. Please be safe and take time to remember that Memorial Day is a lot more than a 3 day weekend. Give a thought to those who have served in the past and those who are currently in harms way, right or wrong, and that they return safly and soon!

I'd like to say thank you to all members here, serving this country. Memorial Day, as with many other holidays, seems to have it's meaning clouded by 3-day weekends, BBQ's and beer.

My Grandfather was a B-24 Pilot in WWII. He was shot down and killed, his body never returned home. My Dad was 18 months old at the time. My Grandmother never re-married, raised my Dad alone. My Grandma died a few years ago, but during my time with her, she instilled in me an understanding of what it means to serve and what it means to to have lost a loved one in the name of Country.

However you celebrate Memorial Day, please take a moment and remember the reason this holiday is celebrated in the first place.

To all members of the military here and abroad, thank you, and God bless you.
