Mid April buck still holding

Well I went out to check a new piece of land out today for a turkey hunt this weekend. I pulled into the drive and spotted two deer. A nice doe and a buck. I was surprised he was still holding both sides. Anyone seeing this around them. I'm in Woodbury County.

I had 6 out 7 bucks walk by one day during 3rd turkey season all carrying. the biggest was a 160. I couldn't believe it.

I have not seen it this year but in years past I have seen a few like this
