Mingo Buck ?

bunch of BS in the first post. The buck was harvested legally and the guy still has it. The deer scored in the 230s, I know there were alot of rumors about this buck but none of them were true.

True.....

there was an article about it in Iowa Game and Fish this past fall.

Its funny how rumors start and people try to take legitimacy away from hunters who kill big deer....
 
I sent the operators of the website a nasty gram. I hate it when things get posted on the web and mailed around with lies in them.

Yah, I was after him. I figured during the rut, chasing does and all, he might cover a measly 100 miles and end up on my farm, but as luck would have it, he never did. Oh well I guess.

Davis didn't mean to come off as if you had done something wrong, you were simply just asking if we knew anything about the buck. The link that someone had sent you contained a bunch of BS and has been getting passed around quit a bit lately. Hopefully it gets cleared up and thanks for asking about it.
