Barely a legit post with only one trailcam pic, but I'm gonna do it anyways!:D

I thought this pic was pretty cool:

What is this critter?

I know what this is, its a Preying Mantis. I spotted him as I was walking across a CRP field checking trail cams.

I ran across that same plant years ago in south central Ne. on the Kansas border. Never did figure out what it is. They look good but I never had the nerve to eat one.
As for the critter, it sort of looks like a badger to me.

Looking at the plant I figured it to be a member of the nightshade family, not something I wanna be eating!

I have seen that plant all over, not sure what it is. The critter is definitely a coyote. The buck picture is neat!!

How did you get your time and date upside down?

Well, last time I checked this cam, the tree I hung it on was empty. I looked around the tree and found it laying on the ground, face up. It seems a squirrel had decided to chew the ratchet strap in three pieces, running off with the ratchet end, he must have needed it for some home improvement project. I made a trip to the car to grab a python cable and some #9 wire (the cam was built for a ratchet and I had to modify it a little for the python). When all was said and done, I had the unit upside down on the tree. Worked the same, but just try looking at a card full of upside down images to figure out which ones to delete. I have it hung "correctly" now that I moved it.

We have pokeweed everywhere, I do know that the pheasants like the berries ^ it's also called inkberry for a reason, dang stuff can ruin a good pair of jeans!

I was going to say,

cool buck pic

and I think those are called snozzberries???
