Minnesota DNR to Auction Confiscated Hunting Equipment
ZIMMERMAN, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is auctioning off a select inventory of confiscated outdoors equipment the coming Saturday, September 18th.
The auction will be at the Hiller Auction Barn in Zimmerman.
The auction will include nearly 300 rifles, shotguns, and bows seized by conservation officers over the past four years, plus other items.
The inventory will be available for inspection on Friday 11 a.m.-5 p.m. and on Saturday 8 a.m.-10:45 a.m. The auction starts at 11 a.m. Saturday.
All buyers will be required to pass a background check prior to taking possession of a firearm.
Proceeds from the auction will be deposited in the DNR's Game and Fish Fund.
