I talked to a Mn. native yesterday and he thought they had a law that a treestand could be no higher than 16 ft. He doesn't bowhunt but hunts alot with a gun. Anybody heard this before? I can't believe it.
It only applies to permanent stands.., and yes, it is enforced when the DNR see's them.
Portables can go as high as you like. Only stipulation is that on public lands they cannot be left over night. If they are they become public property.
