Well, I said you had to get some moisture the begining of the week or you were in for it. Hope you did. I saw I-80 northward got some, and Kirksville MO, southward got some. My land in SE IA, missed out. Going on a month now no precip. The Monster heat dome that has been building just to the south is now gonna take over. Some say the rest of this month, possibly beyond. Not only does this mean no chance of rain, but cooking temps up near 100' and only 80' all night. Good luck and pray!

Think we just got well over an inch in just an hour or so...on top of the 3+ we've received in the last 5 days. Localized flooding is definitely going to be an issue. Weird stuff...

I am wanting to plant my wintergreens in the next week but not looking good for precip here in central part of the state
