Probably just me and my skepticism, but I don't buy it. Unless that cat and the deer are good buddies, I don't see a Mountain Lion creeping that close to a deer, or any prey for that matter, without charging it 20 yards earlier. Just my 2 cents.

There have been other threads on this picture!!! A lot of people say it is a doctored photo, it is a mule deer and not a whitetail....

all i know is that its a cool, pic, I dont know if its a fake or not I am going to ask her when i see her, I just wanted to know what you thought

Amazing how a picture can get around. All I know about it is that it was on the bullitin board of the Maxwell Elavator Saturday. Manager said it was taken south of Maxwell on Indian Creek. Said the owner of the trail cam lives in Bondurant. I dont remember the date listed but it said 1:40 in the morining.

I get more emails about this photo....
Its was taken in Oregon.

An I him 99% sure that it is REAL.

A friend of mine actually built the camera that took the photo.

this has been around for awhile. originally i think the story said it was from washington.....STATE

I've seen this picture several times already for over a month. I'm guessing that Monroe county doesn't have many Ponderosa pine forests with sagebrush. I have heard that the same picture has been seen with an elk instead of a deer.
