I just purchased a new Moultrie Gamespy 100 and I need some help. I've read that they have a slow trigger speed, but mine is rediculously slow. I've hung it about 3 feet off the ground and pointed it down the trail so it should get things coming and going. I then walked toward it and it doesn't do anything unless I stop in front of it and wave my hands. I've looked at the settings and read the manual. Can someone please help? Thank you...

May need to catch them angling in toward or away from the camera...some of the PIR sensors are not really good at detecting motion coming and going, just from from right to left or vice versa. If you have an adjustability setting to the board, you can make it to where it detect quicker than it has....if all else fails, buy a VCAM

If it is that bad, contact Moultrie via phone and they will send you a new censor. They did have some bad batches out there and they are rectifying the problem. At least that is what I heard. I have 5 of them and love them.....

Try drilling the sensor hole out. It will make the sensing cone wider, which will give it more time to activate and trigger before the big boy walks by. Works pretty well, only go one size bigger the existing hole.

I have the same camera and have had good luck so far. However my friends had the same camera bought at the same place and it was doing exactly what yours is. They took it back got a new one and works perfectly.

Thank you for all the good advice. I called Moultrie and they told me to send it to them and they would replace it. I'm glad to hear some people have this kind of camera and like it. Hopefully the new one will work better.
