muddys real time turkey tips

Tip #1. For those of you who have the double bull blind fold up chairs, turn them upside down and tighten the screws on the bottoms of the "feet". Out scouting now and caught the loose screw in the nick of time. I wasn't aware there were even screws under there as they're always caked in mud.

Turkey tip #2. Props to THA4 on this literal "butt saver". Go to Walmart and buy a container of pre moistened baby wipes. Take a bunch out and place in zip lock baggie. Stuff into turkey vest. They serve 2 purposes, 1; clean hands up after gutting or carrying a turkey out and 2; they are excellent for "emergency evacuations" in the field. Sure toilet paper works great but most times the "EE" in the field is a touch dicey and often times leaves something to be desired.

Those are your turkey tips of the day, real time and realistic.

Good day.

been following tip #2 for a few years now, just make sure when you get the wipes look close at the box and make sure they dont have the alcohol in them, maybe they done even make those any more....made the mistake once and if it's during an "EE" in the field the alcohol ones will "set you free"..

real time Tip # 3... Similar to tip #2..... keep the same in your truck. Was out scouting this morning..... And..... Well..... I wished I had

:D

I alway carry 6 squares of Heavy Duty paper towels on me whenever I am in the woods. TP and baby wipes seem kind of small for me. :) I also agree with Tip #3. Always have some in the truck!! Also you can make quite a bit of $$$ when all of your buddies alway forget to bring something and they need to go. ALWAYS hold the TP hostage!!

I am having a hard time visualizing tip #2...is there any way some of you boys with your video cameras could document this process and post it up here for us slower, old guys to be able to see for sure what you are talking about? :D

I'll grab my camera and get done directly. In fact, I'll get several cameras for multiple angles.... I'm on it!

Tip 3. Don't forget the tent stakes for you blind. This morning was almost REEEAL bad.
