I shoot MX-4s, and the past four to five years, i have been shooting the 4 blades.
i have noticed i have a hard time getting perfect flight if my bow was shot all summer long at 3d shoots. thus being slightly out of tune. once tuned, they flew perfect.

i got my cam timed and bow tuned a couple weeks ago after i had a new string put on, put my MX-4's on and pinwheeled it at every distance out to 40 yards.....i didnt need to make any adjustments or anything. no fish tailing/planeing etc.
i can shoot them all year and have no problems with flight.

i love my muzzys

will be shooting them too ! beman micro with blazer vanes seem to shot good for me. boyd (buck hallow) set me up with these, he shoots the mx-4 have any problems give boyd a call (muzzy pro-staffer)

I have heard good and bad things about the Muzzy's. I am planning to have the wife shoot fixed blades this year, and had a tough time deciding between Muzzys and the new Hellrazors. Decided to shoot Hellrazors simply because of the cut on contact tip...
But someone did point out to me how handy the replacement blades are for a muzzy vs resharpening the Hellrazors! No names mentioned!

I agree the planing is due to not having your bow propertly tuned. I shot muzzy about 3 years ago, but they were planing terrible out of my new bow, so I switched to mechanicals. I had my bow tuned by Crackers about 2 months ago. Just for the heck of it I shot a couple of my old muzzys and I couldn't believe the difference. They were shooting exactly like my field points. Now I'm torn on which broadhead to use this year. My muzzys or my spitfires.

I am shooting the mx-3s this season and I had no problems getting them to fly good.

If your bow is tuned and they are still planing on you, make sure your arrows are spin tested and square. You have to do more work to make fix blades fly good, but in my opinion it is worth it.

Have your tried them with you Radial Weaves? They'll have enough spine!

I was shooting axis 300 and they were awesome... And yes I happen to be shooting radial weaves now with excellent results..
