After having no luck in the morning I decided to try a new stand that I hadnt hunted for a while. My brother had seen some nice bucks in that location the morning before when he was hunting so I figured I could try my chances there. After being in the stand almost all night it was starting to get late....I hadnt seen a deer all night and was begining to get discourage. About that time I heard a sound in the field behind me. I looked and saw a deer walking to me, as it got closer I could see that it had a nice rack on it. When it got to bout 60 yards of me I knew he was a shooter. I got up and waited for him to walk under me, but of course he didnt. He decided to go beside me in the brush and not give me a shot. Now I was down to one shooting lane. I told myself the only way I was going to shoot him was if he stopped in an opening 30 yards away. So I drew back and waited to see if he was going to stop. To my dismay the buck stopped directly in the hole and looked away from me. I couldnt believe it. I put my pin on him and let the arrow fly. I saw my arrow go in a little far back so I decided to wait til morning to go look for him because I didnt want to push him. The next morning I went out at daylight and found him about 150 yards from my treestand. The G2 on the left side is broken off so it hurts his score, but if he had the point on there he would be in the mid to high 130s. No matter what he ends up scoring Im really happy with him. Here is a couple of pics.
