Here is a picture of my buck and doe I shot on 11/29/2003. The story goes like this. I was hunting on a farm that I found a large shed on and got permission to hunt through shed hunting. It was only my second trip to this farm and I knew the organic farmer wanted me to take out some does, so I had no problem with that. 45 minutes after sun rise I shot the doe she went 25 yards and down, I blow her aorta up! My ramrod fell out so I had to climb down to get it and about 20 minutes later I had 7 more does come in and I was planning on taking one, but they were about 80 yards out and my tree was blowing like crazy, so I could not get a good kill shot. I decided to sit down and let them come closer, but when I did I looked down a ravine and saw what looked like antlers, then I noticed they are antlers!!! He had came in and layed down right behind a tree while I was watching the does his head was the only part exposed. So I decided to call my hunting partner and tell him I was getting ready to kill the biggest buck of my life. I tried to grunt to him but he paid no attention. After about 45 minutes he stood up I had the hammer back and pointed at him the whole time. He took one step forward and I let him have it. He took off toward a place I knew another hunter was I was terrified, but then he went down with in 30 yards. I did some kind of hillbilly dance in my stand for about 30 seconds. Not bad for a Maryland buck I know he is no Iowa buck, but he is in my book. 130" Ten point
