It was sleeting and really windy that morning and nothing was moving. Austin and I were heading back to the ranger along the south side of the ditch I was hunting and spotted this little guy bedded up only 30 yards away. After arguing with my buddy for atleast 3 minutes we decided I would shoot him since I spotted it, even though I wanted him to get his first bow buck. After I drew back my buddy moved away about 10 yards and tried to get him up by making a fawn bleat with his mouth, with the wind and the sleet he couldnt even hear his first two tries and then he yelled BAHH! And all this buck did was raise his ears so I let my arrow rip into him. He only went ten yards and toppled over without ever knowing what hit him. My arrow was laying in his bed, it was a exciting 5 minutes. Somehow it was my 4th 9 pointer Ive taken in a row.

Cking, Austin, and I were all together when my buddy shot this buck in the last days of bow season. This was his first bow buck and he was getting pretty antsy to shoot at something after watching us both kill something already. We were still hunting a timber of ours and it was almost 11 in the morning already and this guy happened to stumble on us. His shot was a little far back but luckily for a good spot by Collin we found where he was bedded up and patienly waited for him to expire. Not a monster but another great hunt.
