I've had a great opportunity come up to keep my current job and work from a home office up in WI. This will enable me to help my dad on his cranberry marsh without having to drive 3 hours each way every weekend.:drink1:
My house is going on the market in a couple of weeks and this is looking to be my last Iowa deer season as a resident! I can say I probably won't see near as many quality deer up where I'm from in WI but its my old stomping grounds where I learned how to hunt, so it'll be a good time nontheless.
I've only been in IA about 6 years but its been fun and I've made lots of new friends. I'm hoping that the public land I hunt here will pan out for me this year since later in the season I'll probably be having to commute for some hunting trips. I'll definitely be sticking around this site though! There's way too much info on here to pass up.
Just wanted to thank everyone for the welcome I got when I started in on this site and when I came to IA in general.
