Didnt plan on spending $1500 when i went to the gun store.

gotta love the black guns. I can't wait to get one. Why did you choose that one?? I think I want a A4 varmint.

Is that a bushmaster? It doesn't take long to get up to 1500 with those ar's, especialy when you have to scope it too. But they are a blast to shoot. Find some cheap ammo, because it will go fast (Not Wolf ammo either, that stuff is bad news for semi-autos).

BOING!

Stay with the small clips. You won't burn through quite so much ammo if you have to stop and reload. This is the voice of experience.

Cool, maybe you can shoot the holy hell outta that damn Red Sox hat.

No seriously, what in the hell you planning on shooting with that and are you going to bring it with you to the classic?

Yeah, but a well rounded weapon and worth the dough. Coyote ripper, home defense, or just plain ol subtle intimidation for questionable neighbors. Just sit out on the porch giving it a good cleaning now and then.

I used to carry one almost exactly alike for my last employment. Fun stuff on the range.

Nice, I just finished my first build. Already planning on four more over the next several months. Are you a member on AR15.com?

It will be coming to the classic with me, Hopefully my boys will take me truckin for coyotes and i will mow some down, but I bought the Bushmaster cause it was on sale, all ar15 are the same just rolled with who evers logo. I was gona build my own but I was scared to dish out all that cash on pieces and not have a working gun in my hands, so i bought a basic gun and plan on personalizing it soon. It is a 16" m4 in .223 toped with a Leaupold 4x12x40, thanks for the comments boys. as for the red socks hat, it's not going anywhere

I freakin love those things. What brand, and was the scope included for that price? I havent looked at them for a while and dont know what theyre going for.
Way back before the ban I had money down with a dealer for a 20" Colt flat top, $600. Word about the ban got out and suddenly that dealer "couldnt get them anymore". I think he just wasnt going to sell what he could get for $600. Ended up buying a Colt A3 Elite later.
Couple years ago work bought us all DPMS shorties, 14" barrels and select fire.

Sweet machines.

For some reason I cant explain, I've always wanted a stainless Mini 14 too, even though I've never seen one that could actually hit anything.

Here is my latest toy. I got it last summer and love it. It's a Rock River Arms A4 flat top with a 20" heavy stainless barrel. It was $997 with tax, but I had to order it and they have about a 3 month wait. I went with RRA because they make most of the AR's for the FBI and DEA, so I figured they probably tested them pretty thoroughly. I topped it with a Burris 4.5-14x42 and am very happy with it. I was actually looking at some mini 14's before I bought this and am very glad I changed my mind. The difference when shooting them side by side is unbelievable. Let's see some more toys.

That thing is freaking awesome!

I'd like to see how many times you could hit that Red Sox hat at 100 yards with a thirty round clip

Nice gun you are in for some serious killing!!

Thats a sweet gun, but did you expect everyone to notice that instead of your double drop tine buck in the background? Awesome drops!!

Speaking of new toys, here's mine. Just got it yesterday. Sited it in this afternoon, and then fired up the fox-pro. Dropped my first yote of the year at 200 yards.

Rock River Arms Varmint EOP 20" barrel.
