Heres my buck I took a couple days ago. I know I know, a really really bad shot. He decided to take a step when I released the arrow. What do ya do. Anyways, check out what the Rage broadhead did to him. Not only did it put a big hole in him, but it also took out a large chunk of fat and guts as it exited. Not the giant I'd hoped for, but its been nearly three years since I shot a buck, so he wasn't gonna walk away!

I should have mentioned this. After the bad hit I watched him walk off with his head down directly to a nasty thick spot where I figured he would go and lie down. I got out of there knowing not to push him or I'd probably never find him. The next morning I could smell him from my tree stand. He didnt go but 80-90 yards and died right where I figured he would!
 
Nice job, buddy! Don't worry for the buck's size if you are happy with him! Afterall, he's still way bigger than my bull elk! :way:
 
Oh heck I never meant to come off as not being happy about him. I was happier than a pig in shit when I finally got to take a shot at a mature buck! The previous two seasons has been tough, waiting and passing buck after buck because he didnt score high enough. Screw that garbage! Like I said, hes not the giant I wanted, but he is a nice big bodied mature buck that presented me a shot. Just wish the shot would have been a nice clean quick kill instead of a long agonizing one for him. Thanks for the comments fellas.
 
Nice deer.... any deer with stick and string is good and the shot placement i have no room to talk i tagged a buck sun night and when i went to let arrow fly he turned straigt away and hit him right in the left butt cheek
