Hey guys! While most of you were enjoying the cool weather sitting in a treestand, I braved through the coolness to go "day after Turkey day shopping."
Since I shot my 9 Pter on Sunday, I thought a break was in order!!

What this post is really about though, is that I got my peepers

on the new hoyt Trykons. I also got my eyes on a Hoyt Trykon XL. The basic difference was the axle to axle height. They both are pretty sweet!

I know some of you like longer axle bows because they are more hunter friendly, any ideas or opinions on this?

I shot one the other day...I'll have one of the two, I need to shoot the XL version just to see how that one is before I place my order

shredder, i thought you learned your lesson, and were jumping to bowtech. i need to go see gunrunr and shoot the 06's

I still may....I will head up there on the way to the classic maybe and check out his new stock but I really like the new hoyt I shot the other day

The longer axle to axle bows are better suited for longer draw lengths. I seen a picture in a magazine of a short bow and longer bow side by side that described the differences. I don't know for sure though. I've shot the Outback pretty well and that is a short axle to axle bow. I imagine with the bows of yesteryear it was a bigger deal.
