My second season bird

Here is the bird I got on the last morning of 2nd season. My dad and I decided to go to some public land we fequent, and the morning started off promising with 5 turkeys gobbling. We were able to set up in between a few of them becuse the ground was so wet that it made walking quieter. The turkeys I was focused on were roosted about 60 yds away. So were just sitting there making a few soft calls and waiting unitl fly down. So as time passes one fires up behind us, that we had already walked by, and I really didn't think about it too much because I could see the ones in front of me getting ready to fly down. So about 6-7 mins later they start flying down, so I raise my gun, and wait for them to come in, well while I'm waiting, dad says he can see one behind me, and still I didn't think about it much because i can see some in front of me, and I'm still expecting them to come in. About 5 mins later I can hear some spittin and drummin from the one that i wasn't worried about a few minutes ago, now i'm straining 180 degrees to the right, and there he is in plain sight 40 yds away strutting back and forth, and there is no way i can move slightly let alone move my body, than swing my gun all the 180 degrees. Than I remember that if he were to turn in full strut with his back to me than i'd be able to move as long as it was silent, well turns out, he doesn't like to take his eye off the decoy, so I can't move. Well this goes on for over 20 Mins! By now my body is totally numb from being twisted so much and my arm fell asleep. lol. Well finally, finally he turns his back to me so i make the big move, and get totally turned around and my gun moved, now i'm sitting off balanced and off handed waiting for him to clear because now he is on his way out to the right( guess he finally got bored) and When I can't possibly move any further to the right I get a shot. He went down without even floppin. This was the coolest show I have ever seen a turkey put on, be it real life, or on the videos. He was in full strut, strutting in a 10 ft line for about 25 mins.
He was a very big bird, but was also very lean.
24.5 lbs
1" spurs
10 3/4" beard

This was probably the most satisfying Turkey hunt I have ever been on, it had it all, and it was capped off by excitement shared by a father and son, something that can't be explained, but, is absolutely priceless! Thanks for the experience Michael!
