This summer's been VERY slow. Found a few deer dead in the water and hearing a lot of the same from neighbors. Been pretty discouraged until last week. I pulled a couple of cards and got pics of these 2 bucks on a property I hunt. In some angles they look like the same deer but the one has split brows and the other is very clean. The pics are pretty grainy because I blew them up and lightened them to show the racks better.

This first one is a buck I call 10-10. This is my 3rd year with pics of him. I have one shed from 2 years ago. He's always been good but blew up this year.

The second buck is a buck I missed last year with ML when I hit a branch a few feet in front of my barrel on a very long shot. He added pretty good inches this year too. Looking at the height of the rack, I'm renaming him Don King. I have one shed off of him from last year.

I think they'll both gross very close to B&C. What do you think? I hope to be able to tell you EXACTLY what they score in a couple of months.

You sure that's not the same deer and u just can't see the split brows on the first pic? Looks like the same deer to me

I didn't examine like you probably will but I think the above looks possible to me from glancing at all the pics. I understand the "clean" vs splits thoughts you have BUT when taking into account the angles, etc- tyhambone's point sounds realistic for sure.

im also thinking its the same buck, its possible its not the same, but hes a Giant and has what i would call a unique frame , its all goes up and with his big g3s on both picts i think there is a good chance its the same deer... but it could also be a different buck with the same genetic line? I think with some more pictures you get this fall you will probably find out for sure... hopefully its a different deer so you have 2 giants to go after ;)

I thought it was the same deer too until I got to some blurry pics with both deer in the same frame. Amazing how similar they are, isn't it!

you guys are crazy differemt deer for sure the g 4s are different especaily the left one. The frames are very similar but are different.

I'm betting that time will tell its the same deer, everything is identical, it's just in the first pic it's hard to see the brow tines fork. It's highly unlikely to have 2 deer that look identical with that "style" of rack.

I guess you didn't read my second post where I mentioned having pics with both deer in the frame.

The pics with both deer are daytime and show significant landmarks in the background so I'm not putting them up. Been there, done that, learned my lessons. Sorry.

The three Pics you Have on here and on Mikehanback.com Looks like same deer the g4s have same spacings. right g2 is longer than the g3 in all 3 pics and on left side the g2 is shorter than g3 on all 3 pics. the only difference I can see is split brow on 3rd pic but believe they are just hard to see. Id like to see pic with both bucks because it would be crazy to have 2 identical 160-170 class bucks unless they are identical twins.

White out the back ground On microsoft paint or something

That's a darn good idea. I don't blame you for not wanting land marks in pics- it really is about 30 seconds to get rid of them though or even blotch everything else out except the deer.

This post is what it is. If you enjoy looking at good deer, enjoy! That's why I posted them. If you enjoy arguing and have plenty of time to troll around, get a better hobby.

I haven't posted trail cam pics on here for a while and now I remember why.

Now, I've gotta go check some cams. Later!
