How many n/r applied for tags this year.I know it was around 10,000 last year,just wondering if the price increase stopped some n/r to apply.
 
I figured it was still worth it. Considering we have a free place to stay it only costs me lic., gas & food. I'd love to be able to go every year but I realize they need to try to keep everything in check to keep the hunting good.
 
Iowa DNR doesn't seem to let out the numbers of the N/R sales out till nearly the next hunting season. I too am lucky enought to have free land and a place to stay, so the higher price is well worth the monster buck hunt! This year will be 8 out of the last 9 years I've been in Iowa heaven!
