I just wanted to extend an invitation to any and all Nebraska residents here at IowaWhitetail.com who would like to have their trophies scored that the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is sponsoring a free Antler Scoring Workshop this coming Saturday (March 12, 2005) at the Ak-sar-ben Aquarium at Schramm State Park near Gretna.
Hunters who would like to have their trophies scored for potential entry in the Nebraska Big Game Records Program are invited to bring them to the workshop anytime between 9 am and 4 pm that day. Shed antlers can also be scored at the workshop.
Official Measurers for Boone & Crockett, Pope & Young, Longhunter Club, and North American Shed Hunters Club will be on hand to measure and accept qualifying trophies for those programs.
I will be helping to measure for the workshop, and would welcome the chance to meet any IowaWhitetail.com folks who are able to stop by. Just ask for me when you arrive. Thanks!
