Nebraska Spring Archery Turkey Season Begins March 25

The spring turkey hunting season opens this week for archers.

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission says the spring archery season begins Friday. The youth shotgun season opens April 9, and the regular shotgun season opens April 16. All spring turkey seasons close May 31.

Each hunter may have as many as three permits. The bag limit is one male or bearded female turkey per permit.
A spring turkey permit and a Nebraska Habitat Stamp are required. Residents younger than age 16 do not require a stamp.

While there is no minimum age requirement to hunt turkeys, there is a hunter education requirement.

Yep, and I have no turkeys on my property yet to hunt.:mad: They haven't showed back up yet.

I'm really getting concerned. For years they have wintered about a mile and a half from where I hunt. But last winter, there were no birds wintering there. I have no idea where they went or are. Might be a bleak year. :(
 
The birds I will be hunting winter about a mile up the road also. The area I hunt is loaded with birds, but I fear the weather is to crappy and they wont be there yet. Your down near Hasting right.
 
I'm in north central NE. The place I hunted last has no turkeys on it right now. So I've been knocking on doors. Got a place lined up for tomorrow. 3" of snow is forecasted for tonight. So maybe I'll get a snow bird:)
