Need a little help

Hey guys, I will be a first time Iowa hunter this year. I am real excited about it. I will be hunting the Sigourney, N. and S. English River, Kinross, and Wellman area. How good or bad are the management areas around there? I am coming out a weekend or 2 during October to scout, then I will be there the first 2 weeks of November archery hunting. Any feedback, good or bad will be greatly appreciated.

...sorry to break the news like this, guess you didn't hear....all the bucks in that area contracted a very rare disease (leftitusdroppus)...seems all the bucks have lost their left rack prematurely...

I hear that area has the largest buck concentration in the entire state. All non-residents should take my advice and go there because there are no BIG bucks down my way!!

Doc, What on earth would ever make you want to come to Wellman, Iowa? I can tell you of one public track that I know very well. It is called Green Valley and the north side of the river is now a 4 - wheeler race track and the south side has poor access from the front because it is all duck marsh. I have hunted it several times only to have someone ruin my hunt still-hunting through the timber. Not a good choice for a serious whitetail hunter because of the pressure. Later T$
