Need broadhead tuning lesson

Guys, to follow up on my G5 vs. Muzzy post, I bought new G5 Montecs and they flew great. However, two of three arrows flew exactly like my field tips with the third flying a couple inches low. My question is, since I'm going from mechanicals to fixed blade, what is wrong with my arrow or broadhead to cause different flight in one arrow? Again, of twelve arrows eight flew good with four a couple inches off. What gives?

Try turning your nocks a little bit. This always seems to help. Start out by making sure they are all in the exact same location. Then take your ones that are not flying true and give the nock a little turn til it hits right.

Tec,
I'll give it a try, but when you say give the nock a turn, how far do you mean? I have a habit of shooting my arrows with my cock feather up. If I turn the nock obviously that will change the position of my cock feahter, I don't care if it corrects the flight. Thanks.

Start with 1/8" increments. Did you weight them to make sure they are all the same weight and length?

Yes, they are all close, but I do fletch my own arrows and I'm sure a little variance in fletch position, which I do have on a few arrows, will make the difference.
