Were do you think would be the best place to stay from this list. Will be attending the Classic and the IBA banquet. $40 differance between them. Concidering cab fare and proximity to clubs, downtown and local attractions.

1)Fairfield Inn
1600 NW 114th Street, Clive, Iowa 50325

2)Clive Suites and Conferance Center
11040 Hickman Road, Des Moines, Iowa

3)Canndlewood Suites
7625 Office Plaza Drive North, West Des Moines, Iowa

Fairfield Inn is nice, not familiar with the last two? The first two addresses are quite a ways to the west, pretty long cab ride I would imagine (15 min). I guess if it were me I would go with the least expensive, especially if there is a $40 difference. Just north of the intersection of I-235 and I-35/80 there are plenty of good places to stay, and eat

Did you see how much the Holiday Inn is going to be where the banquet is?
50th and university in WDM. Tell them you are there for the banquet for a cut rate. It is only about 10 minutes from the classic.

The price differance between buying a package off hotwire.com with air fair and hotel is way cheeper than buying everything seperate. And those are the only hotles on hotwire. Im going to call the University Holiday Inn agian tommarow. I like the idea of staying close to everything, hate paying extra $150 in air fair and hotel reservations. But I might do it for convenience.
Thanks for the replys guys,Im really looking forward to meeting some fellow I/W.comers

The first two are right near the Holiday in that the Banquet will be at. I am talking short walk. The third is about a mile away. All are about 15 minutes away from the classic. The first two are closer to many good Bar & Grills.
