Hi Everyone,
I wanted to post a great new campground that one of my customer's has opened up near Wadena, IA along the Volga River starting the summer of 2009. The campground will have approximately 40 sites with power and water. He will offer approximately half in permanent sites with sewer. If a permanent site is purchased, free bowhunting and turkey hunting will be allowed on 80 acres this year and 200 next year. He is going to limit the number of people that hunt though because he wants to have a quality hunt for folks. The land has excellent bowhunting opportunities along the Volga river with many mature deer in the area. The land also has a 3 acre lake with good fishing. It sounds like a good opportunity to me, just thought maybe someone would be interested if you are looking for a good place to camp.
I also wanted to add that the river runs through the middle of the property and has excellent access for canoeing, tubing, and small mouth bass fishing.
