New compounds ?????

My brother asked me to help find him a new bow. He's needs to stay under $500.00. He's doesn't want a really short axel to axel length and would like to find something with a brace height near 7.5" or greater if possible. More of a forgiving bow than speed oriented. What's the best bow for the $$$ right now?

I bought a 2006 Ross CR337 off of AT classifieds for around $400.00 It had a stabilizer, STS, and sight already on it. 37 ATA, 7-3/4 brace height and DL is adjustable with $12.00 modules. Super smooth draw cycle.

There are some great options in the PSE line. The Rogue has been a good seller and people have really liked it. Very very quiet and next to no hand shock. Also an extremely forgiving bow!! I also have a hot deal on a Redhead XSC-33(Parkers BassPro bow) It is in a 29 in draw and is a 70 # peak bow. Nomally 599, and is still brand new and I would sell extremely cheap!!
