New Crossbow

That thing is huge. 1" groups at 100 yards, I will have to say, that is impressive for a crossbow.

Not against crossbows, but I'm definilty against that one.

I wouldn't want to lug that big awkward thing around in the woods! I could see Rambo reeking havoc with it though! /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

$1,299.00 and you need to provide the AR15 bottom, WOW! Didn't figure I would ever own one but that guarantees it!

What's next a crossbow that you rest on top of your shoulder like a bazooka? That thing is long enough it looks like you could do it.

I don't think they listed a weight and I have to wonder where the center of gravity is and how much FOC it is. It looks heaiver and more cumbersome than mine.

No rail for the arrow to set on so it looks like they are using a whisker biscut for a rest.

There are several features on it that I like, excluding the price tag. They also didn't say if the price included the optics.

I'd like to shoot one just to feel it.

I wonder how much hold over they use at 100 yards. For my crossbow to shoot 100 yards I'd have to shoot it like a mortar.

You gotta admit, that's pretty awesome!!! Id never own one, but I would like to shoot one /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

There you go Liv, CR isn't to far out of the way to sling some bolts at over 400fpc.

This also makes me think about when a ML will no longer be considered a primitive weapon. I am sure many people think they need to be toned back from what most of carry to truely qualify. I think it should be done. Is this called a highjack? /forum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Yes, I would say my ML is far from primitive. Leupold scope, tack driver at 200 yards, just think if the settlers had one like it back in the day.

NRA has entered the fight in Pa. to allow them in archery season.

I would like to learn more about the NRA pushing crossbows in archery season. My membership just expired to the NRA... if this is true then I will no longer be supporting the NRA.
