I have seen this around the $80 odd dollar range. Looks like a winner, and a buddy of mine has one and says the cushion is a little thin, but great chair for the blind hunter.

Those legs still look like they'll sink down in the mud. That's my gripe about blind chairs, most are only good if you are on flat solid ground. When does that ever happen

i have a thin piece of rubber, probably a bit bigget than 2' by 3' that i put under my chair to keep the legs from sinking into soft ground

I always bring a quilted blanket/mat with me, that covers the entire inside floor area, as it muffles the noise of the ground(leaves/sticks, snow) and then I set up on that. It weighs very little, packs with my blind and it is easy to see items laying on it too, such as turkey calls etc, so I don't lose stuff while I am out there. This looks like the bst alternative of achair over spending $200 on a huntmore one. I just don't ground pound that much to justify a $200 chair. $80 is still high.

The Huntmores are sweet, but yeah, $200 for a chair to turkey hunt out of seems much too expensive. I've heard nothing but good things about the $40 Double Bull chairs (the new ones) and that idea of a floor mat carried along is a good one.

Love my new double bull chair, sat in it last day of muzzlelaoding for 7 hours, five straight and never was uncomfortable.

The new double bull chairs are the ticket for me. I can sit in them all day long now with no problems.
