I am looking to by a new muzzleloader in the next couple of weeks. I am interested in the opinions of members of this site.
 
I perfer the Knight Disc Extreme, made in Iowa, customer service is second to none IMO.

I'm sure Knight's are awesome I've just never shot one. I do however have nothing but praise for my Thompson Center. These 2 names are definiteley some of the best there are. If you want to keep your money in Iowa then Knight is definiteley the way to go. I dont think you would be dissappointed with any of these guns mentioned.Good luck,

I have been very happy with my two Knights (Bighorn and Disc Elite). Very few complaints are said about the Thompson Center Encores and Omegas or of the Savage 10ML2 and I would not be afraid to try any one of them either.
 
Knight, TC or savage and you should be set. I would recommend a stainless steel version of any of them though
 
I have a Knight disc extreme and I like it for the reason listed above, but most importantly for me is the accuracy.
 
I got a T/C Omega with the thumbhole stock for my birthday this spring. Only had it out once so far, but I gotta say that I love it. It's a lot easier to clean than my Knight Disc rifle. I sold my Knight, but my boys each have one. I don't know that one out shoots the other. I do know that the American Pioneer powder with the low ignition primers makes for a good combination when it comes time to clean the guns.
