Well I finally bit the bullet and went and got my cycle license. Decided that I'd find myself an older(see cheap) bike to get things started on. Picked up this '81 Suzuki GS850L on Monday. Have a few small projects to do on the engine but in the meantime it runs fairly well. I'll be able to put some time into it after hunting season. Should be a good late winter project.

That is pretty sweet but I don't know...I can see getting nanny's bike in our pasture now...man that would be dangerous/fun! Still an awesome bike Trav, and looks like its in great shape!

Cool old bike! Takes me back to the muscle bikes of the 70's and 80's. The big 4 cylinder KZ, CB, and GL's. Could never talk my folks into letting me get a KZ900 OR 1100 so I bought a 80 HD ironhead sportster. When I left the service I bought a 86 yamaha V-Max, the fastest and scariest bike I have ever owned. Check out this website www.motorcycleclassics.com for any info you may be looking for. I have been thinking about finding one of those big 4 cylinders to restore. P.S. love the sissybar on the back.:)
