Here are some new pics of the "injured buck" that was posted in the "Getting bigger" thread. I'm counting around 11 or 12 points on him. Do you think this guy is at least 140?

This is one of the few pics I have of him looking at the camera.

Geez, does his mouth shut? I thought for a minute he had a broken jaw besides the bad leg.

I count 12 points. Hard to say what his gross score will be but he looks good. His net score will take a big hit but who cares about nets anyway? Aren't they for fishing?

I'm not a good judge of age but I'd guess him to be about 3 1/2 years. Better see what the experts say.

Experts! Where are you?

lol....Thanks for the comments. Hopefully he will "hobble" by my stand this fall.

I'd Definatly say he's a shooter. I'd Put him possibly in the 150 Range He's a nice looking buck. Did you nick name him Gimpy?

I think he should make 150's gross pretty easy. Nice long main beams. Velvet can be deceiving though. Definitely a shooter if you don't see any of those bigger boys first.

Once the velvet comes off he'll "shrink" down a bit, I imagine 145 (give or take) will be pretty close to a gross score. Nice pic, got him shedding into the grey fall coat it looks like.

Great pics! I shot a doe with an injury like that last fall. Her right back knee was a calcified ball, and hard as a rock. She moved through the woods just fine, just had a small limp. Guess she probably suffered the injury at a young age.
