New sight options???

Okay had a spring meeting at work and I got lucky and won $75 bucks from cabelas.

I've been shooting at Matt's Dad's on Sunday's(picked my score back up after dropping the APA twister and putting a whisker on). I noticed my pins(TR flatliner) aren't near as bright as some of the tru-glo and cobra's. Never had an issue in the treestand but indoor light doesn't work. Suppose I don't really need a new sight but hey I've got $75 bucks to spend that the wife can't complain about, lol.

I enjoy the tool-less sights, but once it's set that's not an issue. I enjoy the lighted sights but never had any before without an issue, then P&Y if I would enter a deer. Anyhow looking at suggestions on the following or different sights;Toxonics K9, Black Gold Radiant, Cobra Sidewinder and radiant, Tru-glo ext micro w/tfo pin. Not afraid to add a few bucks, but no real need to add over $25, S&H not included in that. Thanks in advance.

Course Cabelas does have the rear mount double sts, my bow is at the shop, will a rear mount work on a 06 tribute.

In my honest opinion the lighting in Dad's shop really sucks for any type of sight. I would shoot in there and keep thinking to myself that I needed new sights until I would go outside and see that my sight was perfectly fine in natural light, which is where it REALLY matters. Now, that being said, when there is spare $$$ laying around I have a tough time holding onto it. Maybe a light kit for your sight and a good bow case for your new bow would be a better option? A nice soft lok Alpine Quiver would be a good investment as well, they're worth 10X their weight in gold.

a cheap fix would be to replace the fiber optics on your sight. there are a few guys on archerytalk that sell them, as do most all sight companies. the fibers do fade over time

Tough to beat a Black Gold Radiant with the skycoil technology. I can see my pins before and after it is even legal to shoot. I can see the pins when I can't even see the animals' body due to it being too dark. We have one on all our bows. Great hunting sight. Very bright sight.
